Lexus of Omaha Opening Celebration Draws Big Crowd

On May 8, Lexus of Omaha celebrated the opening of their new building with an event coordinated by Lovgren Marketing Group. Over 1,000 of Lexus’ customers attended the event, which featured tours of the facility, beverages and hors d’oeuvres at tables inside the dealership, and the presentation of a ceremonial Kabuto helmet, part of the traditional armor used by Japanese warriors until the 17th century. The helmet was presented to Mickey Anderson, president of Performance Automotive Group, by Jeff Bracken, Group Vice President and General Manager for Lexus.

Bracken and Steven Hearne, Lexus’ vice president of sales and dealer development, both based out of Torrance, California, represented Lexus at the event. Other dignitaries included Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, City Councilman Franklin Thompson, and former Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne. A full photo gallery of the event is below.
