Lovgren Marketing Group Awarded Three Paper Anvil Awards Print E-mail

Lovgren Marketing Group was awarded three Paper Anvil awards presented by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Nebraska chapter at its annual awards gala on December 10, 2009. Sixty-six professional entries were recognized with an Award of Merit or Award of Excellence in 32 categories.

 

Lovgren Marketing Group earned an Award of Excellence, the highest recognition, for “Fun Rules” in the category of Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign. “Fun Rules” was the 2009 marketing campaign for the Omaha Royals Triple-A Baseball team, which included television and radio, outdoor advertising and special events and theme nights at the ballpark.

 

The agency was awarded Paper Anvil Awards of Merit in the categories of Government/Public Affairs Programs for its work on the CSO! program and News Conference/Publicity Stunt for the Omaha Royals baseball stadium groundbreaking.

 

Lovgren Marketing Group has been retained by the City of Omaha for the past three years, serving as its public facilitator for the Clean Solutions for Omaha program, an unfunded federal mandate to reduce the number of sewer overflows into the cities’ rivers and streams.

 

Lovgren was the public relations lead for the new Triple-A Baseball stadium groundbreaking in Sarpy County. More than 400 fans turned out for the groundbreaking ceremony, joining such celebrities as baseball greats George Brett and Bob Gibson and Omaha Royals owners, Warren Buffett and Bill Shea.

 

The Paper Anvil awards are given annually to honor Nebraska’s public relations professionals for their work.
